Hello there, readers! Slightly different blog where I want to tell you the story of how I started Vantage Mortgages, a Mortgage Broker firm that prioritises the well-being of clients above all else.
It all started when I was working as a partner in another mortgage company. While I enjoyed my job and found it rewarding, I couldn’t help but feel like something was missing. I wanted the freedom to look after my own clients, advise them in a way that I felt passionate about, and protect them, their families, and their homes.
So, I took a HUGE leap of faith, my phone and my laptop and decided to start my own mortgage brokerage firm from our spare room. With my business partner and wife, Julie.
we wanted to create a business where we could provide personalised, high-quality mortgage and protection advice to our clients. Vantage was born.
One of our main goals was to create a safe and supportive space for our clients to talk about their financial concerns and goals. We understand that buying a home at any stage, is one of the biggest financial decisions people make in their lives, and we wanted to make sure they felt comfortable and informed every step of the way.
To achieve this, we prioritise building strong relationships with our clients. We take the time to get to know their financial situation, goals, and concerns. This allows us to provide tailored advice that is specific to their needs.
Additionally, we are committed to creating mortgage advice content so that everyone can access some level of help and support. We believe that everyone deserves to have access to quality financial advice, regardless of their financial situation. We post regular blog posts, social media content, and Youtube videos to educate people about different mortgage products, interest rates, and other financial topics. We want to make sure that people have the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their mortgage.
Starting Vantage Mortgages was a big risk, but it is incredibly rewarding, particularly when I help someone buy a home that they didn’t think was possible before we spoke or help a family use their protection policies when life throws them a curveball.
