Meet the team

Adam Messer

Director

Adam is the director of Vantage and has been a mortgage adviser since 2007. Adam is in the office every day and oversees the Vantage family. Adam loves nothing more than keeping in touch with clients he has helped from the very start of their mortgage journey – from the very first one as first-time buyers to re-mortgaging years later. He lives just outside Banbury with his wife, Julie and their two young boys. Away from the office Adam is passionate about motorsport and cake. He makes a particularly good chocolate cake but never makes the tea!

Sam Cashmore

Mortgage And Protection Adviser

Sam was previously a mortgage adviser for a large estate agency so he’s an expert in the entire process of moving house, from getting that first valuation to completion day. He is dedicated to helping clients finance their dream home. In his spare time, he enjoys going for walks with his two dogs, playing golf and watching the NFL.

Jade Barcock

Protection Adviser

Jade has one of the most crucial roles on the Vantage team. It is Jade’s job to make sure that all our clients are financially protected should the worst happen. She goes about this role with great care for every client and her attention to detail is second to none. Jade is also super organised and keeps herself up to date with all of the latest protection products so that she can give the very best advice.

Joanna Sleem

Mortgage Case Administrator
Joanna is a case administrator so assists the advisers to make sure mortgages cases go through smoothly. Joanna takes care of the day to day running of the office – Adam would be lost without her! We’re glad she’s here with us and not in Cornwall a place she loves to go camping with her family. She also makes the world’s best brownies.

Holly Lambert

Mortgage Case Administrator
Holly is our senior case administrator, so she assists the advisers to get mortgage applications completed and keeps Adam on track! Adam and Holly have worked together in the past and make a great team, with her fab sense of humour and ability to get the job done! Holly enjoys a fine wine but not milk!

Julie Messer

Business Development Manager
Julie is Vantage’s Business Development Manager, focused on building and maintaining excellent relationships across the business and helping create opportunities for Vantage to grow. She loves working with people, developing strong partnerships and making sure the relationships Vantage builds are genuine, positive and long-lasting. Outside of work, Julie is a busy mum, a keen runner and loves getting out for walks with Dotty the dog.

Harry Allen

Will Coordinator

Harry brings the same welcoming, down-to-earth spirit that runs through the rest of our Vantage family — he’s here to make your will planning straightforward, clear and stress-free. Outside work, he keeps active on the football pitch and pushing his limits in the gym! Friendly, reliable and always ready to answer your questions, Harry is your trusted point of contact for everything wills.

Dotty

Chief Happiness And Productivity Officer
Dotty is Julie and Adam’s dog who can be found in the office most days. She loves nothing more than saying hello to our clients and wagging her tail on her walk to work in the morning. Enjoys; chasing bubbles, digging and is partial to the off piece of chicken. Dislikes; baths and long car journeys

Lucy Harbison

Will Writer
Lucy is a Will Writer who enjoys helping clients plan for the future and put their affairs in order. She takes pride in making the process simple, clear and as stress-free as possible, while providing a friendly and personal service. Outside of work, Lucy enjoys spending time with her family, travelling to see friends, walking her dog and settling down to watch a new series. She studied at university in Manchester, where she made plenty of great memories.
